Europe and international
A European and World Wide-oriented activity
CEA Tech List institute activity is widely turned towards Europe and beyond. Such openness gave us the opportunity to expand our industrial and academic networks, to deepen our state-of-the-art knowledge on major topics and to sharpen our technological roadmaps. Our partners can thus calibrate their own innovation objectives according to the best international standards.
Our main work axes:
- Taking part to international collaborative projects, mainly European: by the end of 2013, List was involved in 108 FP7 projects. Furthermore, we take part to European programs elaboration for the future through institutions like ECSEL for example, the European body for research programing.
- Bilateral contracts with foreign companies. Among majors partners List counts DELPHI, the American automotive equipment supplier and Ericsson, the Swedish telecommunications specialist. Our two business teams based in Japan and USA enhance our international prospection actions.
- Collaboration and exchanges with academic partners. List conduct R&D projects with prestigious research institutes like Carnegie Mellon on knowledge engineering or with DARPA, the American Ministry of Defense R&D Agency on cybersecurity for example.
- Strategic partnerships with research centres: we maintain permanent links with Fraunhofer institutes in Germany, VTT in Finland, KIT in Karlsruhe.
