Start-ups

Start-ups, industrial transfer facilitators

CEA Tech List institute research works gave birth to ten start-ups companies since 2001, most of them created by researchers from our institute. All together they employ 200 people and the cumulated turnover is about 10 million euros.

Products and services adapted to the users

These start-ups play a facilitator role during tools and know-how transfer from labs to companies. They industrialise these technologies, set up a business model and develop associated services: the research results become products and services adapted to users’ expectations.

R&D to meet emerging needs

In constant touch with the users, these start-ups detect their precise needs for evolution and their new expectations. List remaining their main R&D partner can thus rapidly react to answer these needs and expectations. This virtuous cycle is perfectly illustrated by CIVA software on Non Destructive Testing and the successive modules developed along the years.
