The future of manufacturing at #techday#cealist 2016
This year’s #techday#cealist focused on the future of manufacturing, addressing issues like how to leverage digital technologies to modernize production equipment and processes and what support companies will need as they navigate this transformation. List, which is involved in more than 500 projects in this field each year, ran a “Techshow” exhibit of the latest technological advances illustrated by 50 state-of-the-art demonstrator systems.
Philippe Lanternier, Corporate Executive Vice President, Bureau Veritas gave the keynote address on "Digital Transformation and Value Creation". Philippe Watteau, Director of Carnot Institute CEA List then gave a talk on "The Right Innovation for the Right Transformation".
The day continued with two panel talks, one on List’s key technologies for the future of manufacturing, and another on the new Factory Lab, a technology platform set up under the Alliance Industrie du Futur.
