Technologies for digital systems

The research conducted by CEA LIST focuses on smart digital systems. From hardware to software, from information to knowledge – CEA LIST technologies aim to design systems at the crossroads of the real and  digital worlds. Interactive and embedded, these systems incorporate innovative sensors and information processing devices. The Institute’s capacity to lead a technological research and the generic nature of the technologies developed are two key advantages it offers its partners. With the strong project-based culture of its researchers, the CEA LIST is perfectly equipped to understand the needs of industry and provide appropriate solutions.

Open teams

CEA LIST’s permanent teams, made up of more than 460 research engineers and technicians, benefit from the research activities of 140 doctoral and post-doctoral researchers. The researchers work in close collaboration with their academic counterparts, mainly within Digiteo, the Carnot institutes and the Nano-INNOV Integration Centre. This partnership enables CEA LIST to maintain its high level of scientific expertise, so essential for its capacity for innovation.
